Space-Comm Expo, the UK’s largest exhibition dedicated to the commercial future of space, returns to the industry calendar on 7-8 June 2023, with Tim Peake kicking off the two-day education programme.
The place for space to do business, Space-Comm Expo brings together decision-makers across the supply chain to further the commercial space sector with future-altering partnerships and hear from world-renowned experts on the immediate opportunities and challenges facing the industry.
Combining an exhibition of spearheading organisations and a first-class conference programme, the award-winning event has grown more than 75% since its 2021 launch and has cemented itself as a must-have date in the diary with 99% visitor satisfaction.
2023 is a landmark year for the UK space, and with the world watching, Space-Comm Expo offers a unique opportunity for the sector to convene, collaborate and discuss learnings, legislation and future demand. Opening the show’s conference programme, astronaut Tim Peake will be discussing the current state of the UK space sector and why the industry needs to inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, and explorers. Peake was the first British ESA astronaut to visit the International Space Station, where his work on its Principia mission was propelled across the globe and is now a best-selling author.
Organised by Hub Exhibitions, in partnership with Farnborough International, Space-Comm Expo has generated support from leading associations and groups across the industry, including its founding partners ADS Group, UK Space Agency, UKspace, ESA and KTN.
Discussing the upcoming instalment, Rob Sherwood, managing director of Hub Exhibitions, said: “While remaining agile and at the forefront of the industry, Space-Comm Expo has grown exponentially since its launch, producing more international attendance and exhibition interest year-on-year. With over 150 exhibitors, 3,000 visitors attending the event and a celebrated conference programme in 2022, we look forward to welcoming the sector to Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre in June ahead of this year’s global airshow cycle.”
