In October, the world’s leading manufacturer of combat and fast jet trainer aircraft, BAE Systems Air held its supplier conference, attended by thyssenkrupp Materials UK’s global key account manager, Bob Blackhurst.
“It was a positive and informative day with excellent networking opportunities with BAE Systems and its partners,” said Blackhurst. “More than 100 different aerospace businesses were represented at the event. The conference focused on strategic alignment, risk mitigation and sustainability.”
BAE Systems Air also announced the company’s prestigious Supplier Recognition Awards, with thyssenkrupp Materials UK winning a Supplier Recognition Award 2022 for the organisation’s outstanding Supplier Performance and contribution to achieving Operational Excellence.
The award has been received with special thanks to the whole team in the UK, for all the hard work through the recent challenging times and the exceptional level of support the business offers.
