thyssenkrupp Materials Services, a leading materials supplier and supply chain solutions provider, and Industria de Turbo Propulsores (ITP), a Spanish global operator and foremost manufacturer of aircraft engine turbines, components and associated services for the aerospace sector, have agreed to extend their existing strategic cooperation until the end of 2024.

With its units thyssenkrupp Aerospace and thyssenkrupp Materials UK, thyssenkrupp Materials Services will extend the supply of stainless steel and nickel products to ITP locations in UK, Poland, Spain, India and Mexico.

The extended agreement was signed at Farnborough Airshow and showcases the strength of the global network of both organisations, offering a strong local presence and cooperation.

“Through this powerful collaboration between our businesses, we are able to provide global solutions to the aerospace industry. Through our role as an international materials and services provider, ITP will further continue to concentrate on its own core business along the growth path already taken,” commented Simon Davies, head of key accounts at thyssenkrupp Materials UK. “We are delighted to announce the extension of our partnership with ITP at this year’s Farnborough Airshow and we are convinced that our global presence, materials and processing capabilities as well as our expertise as supply chain specialists will continue to assist ITP in further expanding its business.”

Marta Ceruelo, ITP externals supply chain manager, added: “ITP is likewise convinced that the expansion of the agreement will not only continue to deliver benefits for ITP manufacturing locations around the world through the local solutions implemented by thyssenkrupp Materials UK but also enable ITP subcontractors globally to take advantage of the key deliverables within this contract.”
