From November 3-5, 2021, JEC Korea 2021 will be held at the COEX and online, via JEC Korea Connect, simultaneously with the first edition of Carbon Korea.
Due to the Covid situation, for its 14th edition and fourth time in Seoul, JEC Korea will bring together exhibitors and attendees in one single hall for both exhibiting companies and conferences, and in a hybrid format with JEC Korea Connect, including digital booths and conferences in livestreaming, to better network and share knowledge.
More than 50 domestic and foreign industry representatives will exhibit in Seoul and online during three days, including: Hyosung, Toray Korea, Jeollabuk-do pavilion, Leresche, Pinette, MFtech of France, ZSK of Germany, HOS-TECHNIK of Austria. Through this, the entire value chain of composite materials, including large companies as well as small and medium-sized enterprises, gather in one place to showcase their latest technologies and innovations.
The Korea Carbon Industry Promotion Agency, established as a governmental agency under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy in March 2021, will launch Carbon Korea, CO2 Zero by Carbon Materials, to support the national carbon strategy to revitalize the composite material market and join JEC Korea, as long-time partner. Carbon Korea is supported by the Korea Carbon Industry Promotion Agency, supervised by the Korea Carbon Nano Association, and the auspices of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. The aim of this new event is to build partnership with unlimited collaboration and cooperation amongst all participants, such as officials, students, researchers, entrepreneurs, and experts to discuss topics related to carbon material 3D printing, carbon products exhibition on the theme of carbon neutrality (Earth cleaning and cooling), and carbon industry professional training programmes.
JEC Korea Technical Conference +* ICF International Carbon Festival will unite 20 global speakers for three days at the core of the event, as well as online through JEC Korea Connect, improving the composites skills of all attendees.
About 20 global speakers from Korea and abroad, including France, UK, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, USA, Spain, Netherlands, Japan, Singapore will participate. It will be a high quality exchange of technical market trends and innovation under the themes of: New Energy/hydrogen and carbon; Smart Manufacturing; New mobility and aerospace.
This year, to ease the exchange and benefit from this high qualitative program, the conferences will be free of charge and simultaneously translated (English, Korean) for onsite and online attendees.
All conferences will be broadcasted live, and all replays will be available on JEC Web TV after the event.
The International Carbon Festival (ICF) is carbon industry’s one of biggest event that leads toward sharing the past and the future in the field of carbon industry in Korea and throughout the world. Since the inception of the ICF in 2006, it is now 15th ICF in 2021. The ICF has been co-organized with JEC Group since 2017. The ICF introduces also a variety of carbon technological trends and carbon companies located at Jeollabukdo Province.
For its third edition in the region, five Asia-Pacific based start-ups will pitch their project in front of a jury of experts and leading industry players. The 2021 selection has a line-up of five finalists who will pitch in front of the jury during one live session on November 4th from 10am to 11am local time. The 2021 winners will be revealed on November 5th from 10am to 10:30am local time. The pitch session and the ceremony will be available in livestreaming and replay.
