JEC World organisers says the long-awaited event, held from May 3-5 at Paris-Nord Villepinte, is ready to bring together the global composites community.
JEC World remains the unmissable tradeshow dedicated to composite materials, and the industry’s most significant business event, as leaders, regional pavilions, start-ups, R&D/scientists, and speakers all confirm their will to attend the show, inviting all their partners to join and get business back on track in May.
With SAMPE Europe and the World Pultrusion Conference taking place this same week, there is no doubt that Paris will be the capital of the composites industry for one week, and JEC World 2022 the place to be for the global composites industry, a place of business, discovery and inspiration.
Companies, associations, experts of the academic and scientific world, express their strong support to JEC World 2022, stating they deserve what the composites industry does best in terms of knowledge, networking and innovation, to really encourage business and ensure a bright future ahead of the sector. Along with these enthusiastic statements, +1,250 companies due to exhibit in March, as well as new exhibitors, have confirmed their attendance to what promises to be a great edition of JEC World.
Below are a list of ringing endorsements from the exhibitors themselves.
Veronique Severin of Altair: “We have participated to several editions of JEC World, years after years, building strong ties with the organisation team, who has always shown dedication and reactivity. It seemed natural to us to keep this collaboration going despite the sanitary situation. Therefore, this year again, we will be at JEC World in May!”
Roberto Frassine, president of EuCIA: “EuCIA fully understands and supports the decision to postpone the JEC World 2022 to May. It is important that the composite industry can meet physically again, and having the event in May will allow more people around the world to come to Paris and meet in a safe way and work together for the development of the composites industry.”
Thierry Merlot, Hexcel: “At Hexcel we are committed to supporting a JEC World 2022 face-to-face event where we can meet our customers, suppliers, and fellow exhibitors. Postponing JEC to May was a good decision to help support the show with more visitors and help make it a more successful show.”
Murat Arcan, COO of composites at Kordsa: “This tough and timely decision demonstrates that JEC Group gives top priority to the health and safety of all exhibitors, visitors, partners and staff. This reflects Kordsa’s uncompromised commitment to health, safety and environment issues. Kordsa will continue to reinforce life, together with fellow companies and other stakeholders at JEC World 2022 from 3-5 May. We see JEC World 2022 as the not-to-be-missed trade show of the composites industry. We hope our contacts will join us in May at this important gathering, which brings together the whole industry value chain, as well as sector professionals, experts from the scientific and academic world, associations and media.”
Sicheng Zhang, CEO of Sky Composites/Sino Composites: “Just entrust composites and JEC World! It is our vision to commit in ESG and utilise composites technologies, products and the leading composites trade show to contribute to restoring the order of our lives.”
Rudolf de Ruijter – SAMPE Europe: “At SAMPE Europe, our priority is to put the safety of our speakers and delegates first. The precautionary cancellation by JEC World was the right decision. SAMPE Europe is looking forward to taking place on May 2nd in the Pullman Hotel aside the Eiffel Tower and participating to JEC World 2022.”
Carmelo Lo Faro, president, Solvay Materials Segment: “At Solvay, our priority is to put the safety of our people, customers, suppliers and partners first. We fully support JEC World's decision to postpone the event until May in order to keep participants safe. Solvay is looking forward to attending and interacting with the industry at JEC World 2022.”
Elmar Witten – EPTA, World Pultrusion Conference: “At the World Pultrusion Conference, the safety of our speakers and delegates is essential. The postponement of JEC World was the right decision. We can’t wait to meet each other again in May and uniting our event to JEC World 2022 will make this week the first Composites Week in Paris.”
