Farnborough Airshow organisers respond to coronavirus outbreak

Farnborough International has said the trade exhibition and airshow will go ahead as planned despite disruption from the outbreak of COVID-19.

The aerospace and defence show is due to take place from 20-24 July.

In a statement on the show website, it says: “The UK risk level of Coronavirus is moderate, however we are keen to provide reassurance around our commitment to the safety of all our visitors and staff.”

Measures will take place at the show for the safety of attendees, including supplying alcohol-based hand sanitiser gel at entrances and signs installed in all toilets and digital screens across the venue reiterating the safety advice issued by Public Health England.

Farnborough International said it will continue to monitor the situation as it develops.
